Privacy, without the mystery.
1ST TO SEE uses one first-party cookie containing a random anonymous identifier. It lets this browser remember today’s result, your current streak and your best streak. It does not contain your name, email address or puzzle answers.
What we record
We record anonymous game events—such as a visit, puzzle start, completion, share, sponsor click or use of the Copy This bonus game—to understand whether the daily games are useful and enjoyable. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Your bonus drawing
If you complete Copy This, today’s drawing and score are stored locally in this browser so you can return to the result. They are replaced by your next completed daily drawing and are not uploaded to our server.
How long it lasts
The streak cookie can remain on this browser for up to one year and is renewed when you return. Clearing browser cookies removes the identifier and disconnects this browser from its streak.
Device limitations
Without an account, your streak belongs to this browser. It will not automatically appear on another device or in private browsing.
